Il reale è l’impossibile. Jacques Lacan
Attraverso il processo dell’abbagliamento, Irreale possibile intende sfruttare il fenomeno fisico della permanenza dell’immagine sulla retina per ricalcare questo atto di esistenza mancato, per creare visioni temporanee dell’ambiente che vanno a riscrivere continuamente il dato di fatto rendendolo irreale e dunque possibile. Con una scelta radicale di astensione, l’intervento si sottrae alle aspettative del sistema e sovverte i meccanismi strutturali dell’arte contemporanea: produrre, esporre, vendere opere. L’immaterialità del progetto bypassa l’ortodossia della produzione di immagini e oggetti, esplorando nuove possibilità comunicative e oscillando sul sottile filo del nulla.

Through a dazzling light, Irreale possibile means to use the physical phenomenon of the permanence of the image on the retina for following this act of missing existence, to create temporary visions of the environment that continually rewrite the real, making it unreal and therefore possible. As a radical choice of abstention, the artwork becomes minimal, showing a research path that does not meet the expectations of the system and that subverts the structural mechanisms of contemporary art: producing, exhibiting, selling artworks. The immateriality of the project bypasses the orthodoxy of the production of images and objects, exploring new communication possibilities and swinging on the thin thread of nothingness.
