Homelandless-ness è la parola che utilizza l'antropologo Shahram Khosravi per immaginare una forma differente di organizzazione umana che possa prescindere dal concetto di patria.
Una casa senza un territorio: proprio ciò che sembrano suggerire tra i più noti manufatti del mondo islamico, ovvero, i tappeti.
Rinunciare al senso di appartenenza e sentire il mondo intero come una terra straniera in cui poter semplicemente essere e stare.
Lasciare indietro le astrazioni che rendono pesante l'esodo ed esprimere un tragitto, più che un territorio.
